JUST SOME OF OUR 2008 STUFF------------We were excited to again be involved in the 2008 Friendship Center's Empty Bowl Fund raising event. In 2002 we made 62 bowls. This year the Guild made 680 bowls for the event. Supporting the Friendship Center's Empty Bowl is an annual community event for the Guild. (Next year our goal will be 750 bowls). ------------- During the month of April, we will host a small group of clients from the Montana Developmental Center, Boulder MT, for a series of special classes. This one of our many community outreach events. ------------- Teaching ceramics and community outreach is part of our mission. If you are looking for a community where you can do good for yourself and your fellows, then the Guild just might be your calling. ------------- The Downtown Helena Spring Art Walk is May 16th, 6pm-10 pm, and the Guild will once again be showing at the Dancing Lotus Center in downtown Helena. Great pottery and great artists will be on hand to create a great evening of art in Helena! ------------- The annual membership meeting is scheduled for May 12th. Pot luck dinner starts at 6:00 PM, Meeting called to order at 6:15 PM, elections of new board members at 7:30 PM.       |
